We’re pulling out all of the stops in 2010 by bringing the big boys that make the big noise! 10,000 pound man made behemoths with over 2,000 horsepower each are smashing into Johnstown, and we highly encourage the use of ear plugs, because it’s going to loud at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena!
That’s right, because of our dedicated fans; we’re rolling into Johnstown again in 2010! We had so much fun in 2009 we thought we’d make this event bigger, better, and badder then ever. Monster Trucks DRAGON FLY, BLACK KNIGHT, SHOCKWAVE, EASY RIDER, and TWISTED DRAGON will be rocking out in competitive wheelie action, side-by-side racing, and the crowd favorite – freestyle. We’re bringing in dirt this year to make the launch ramps steeper, and the racing action more immense.
“We put on a fantastic weekend of events in 2009. Our fans were great in Johnstown, and we want to return in 2010 and make our AMP TOUR event bigger than ever for them. Without the support of our events, this series wouldn’t be where it is today. We want to give back and make this an event that’ll go down in the record books for Johnstown fans,” said an enthusiastic Scott Hart, President and CEO of AMP TOUR.
Other show elements for Friday and Saturday night, January 8th and 9th include locals ripping up their old beaters, or heck maybe even their new beaters, in stop watch Tuff Truck racing. Whoever is fastest at the end of the night through round-by-round eliminations will win the purse of cash and prizes. Quad Racing fans will also be delighted as we need you to also come out and rock out in front of our fans. Compete in racing action that’ll pair you against your enemies and the dirt. Riders better bring their A game, or they may just be left at the starting line, or worst, in second place. Because we all know if you’re not first, you’re last! BRING IT.
