What? Monster Trucks! When? January 15th and 16th! Where? Lake Charles Civic Center! Why? BECAUSE WE SAID SO!
Alright listen up here boys and girls, we’re here to set it straight. We put on a sold out event in 2009, and guess what? We want to do it again in 2010. So on January 15th and 16th get ready to sit on the edge of your seats as we bring five of the best Monster Trucks Lake Charles has ever seen as they battle it out for the 2010 AMP TOUR Championship. Cyborg will be debuting for the first time ever in Lake Charles plus Monster Trucks Defender, Eliminator, Straight Jacket, and a Georgia good ole’ boy Bennett Clark in Clydesdale. They’ll compete in three car crushing elements consisting of wheelie competition, racing, and freestyle. Watch as they go at it one at a time in freestyle for 90 seconds of jaw dropping, car crushing, metal churning, mudslinging action like you’ve never seen before in Lake Charles.
We’ll be making the ramps bigger, the cars will be stacked higher, and the fans will be louder. Will we see a Monster Truck lose control and go up and over on its lid? Only you’ll know by being in the house at Lake Charles Civic Center January 15th and 16th.
Other show elements each night include riders flying through the air 50, 60, sometimes 70+ feet performing insane stunts like the Superman, a Can Can, and maybe, just maybe the aerial assault crew will pull off a death defying back flip!

Tickets for the event are just $10 bucks for kids, $20 for Adults. Pick up your tickets at all local area Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone 1-800-745-3000, or at the Lake Charles Civic Center Box Office night of show. Avoid a $5 increase per ticket by ordering in advance! Don’t get caught up in waiting at the box office Friday or Saturday night, score the best seats money can buy in advance through Ticketmaster.
Party in the Pits with AMP TOUR Monster Truck drivers by picking up pit passes at all local area Domino’s Pizza locations. Place a carry out order, delivery, or just walk in to a local Domino’s for your free pit passes. Pit passes will be $5 at the gate night of each show and must be presented with a paid event ticket for admission.

Also, in conjunction with the Monster Truck action, swmuscle will feature a car show January 16th 3pm at the Civic Center. So make a full day out of the 16th for “Beauty and the Beasts”
